Privacy Notice

1. Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed on this website is Dion Group, Greece (company details in the Legal Notice), email georgedion@dion-group.com. Questions about privacy: the same address.

2. Visiting the website

Our website is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type. GitHub processes this data to deliver the website and protect it against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, working website). GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not use these logs to identify you.

3. Contact and pricing requests

When you use the contact form or the Axon pricing form, we receive the details you enter (for example your name, company, role, email, phone, details of your project or yard, and your message). The forms are delivered to our mailbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which processes the data to forward it and, for the Axon form, to send you an automatic confirmation email; it may show a short security check (CAPTCHA) first. FormSubmit may process data outside the EU.

We use the data to answer your request and, if you wish, to prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to a contract), and to keep a record of our correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Analytics (only with your consent)

If you allow “Analytics” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited; Google LLC, USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) to count visits and understand which pages are used. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. You can withdraw consent at any time under the cookie settings; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Storage in your browser

We store your cookie choices in your browser (necessary) and, with your consent, your language. See the Cookie Policy.

6. Fonts, videos and links

Fonts and videos are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to third parties when they load. The links to Instagram and LinkedIn are plain links: those networks only receive data if you click them.

7. How long we keep data

Contact and pricing requests: 24 months after our last exchange, unless they lead to a contract; business records are then kept for as long as the law requires (usually 5 years in Greece). Analytics data: 14 months. Your choices stored in your browser: until you change them or clear your browser storage.

8. Recipients

We do not sell personal data. Data is only shared with the service providers named above, who act on our behalf, and with authorities where the law requires it.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 15–21 and 7(3) GDPR). Email georgedion@dion-group.com. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or the authority in your EU country.

10. Marketing emails

We only send newsletters or marketing emails with your explicit consent, and every one contains an unsubscribe link. Operational emails from our products (for example release notices in Axon TMS) contain no marketing.

We update this notice when our processing changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
